Sintons extends support for Bright Ideas in Health Awards

Highly-esteemed healthcare awards which celebrate innovation within the NHS, industry and academia are again being supported by Sintons.

The Bright Ideas in Health Awards, now in their 16th year, have gained a reputation as a key acknowledgement of the role individuals and teams play in the North of England’s healthcare sector and how their work in devising innovative solutions to challenges is helping the region to lead the way nationally and often internationally.

Sintons is nationally known for its work in healthcare and is a specialist and trusted advisor to the NHS and wider healthcare sector, acting for Trusts and other organisations across the UK.

The Newcastle-based firm is a long-standing support of the Bright Ideas in Health Awards, which are organised by the Academic Health Science Network for the North East and North Cumbria (AHSN NENC), and has again pledged its backing for 2019.

The awards will be held in November and are open to NHS organisations, healthcare businesses and professionals and academic institutions for entries until August 16.

Victoria Armstrong, partner in the healthcare team at Sintons, said: “The North East is at the very forefront of innovation nationally and regularly its work also has a global impact. We are delighted to be based in such a dynamic region with such excellence in healthcare, and the Bright Ideas in Healthcare provide a great opportunity to shine a light on the work of the organisations and individuals whose work is having such impact.

“Sintons is known nationally as being a leading advisor to the healthcare sector, and a supporter of the innovation that happens within it, and we are very pleased to again commit our support to these awards.”
