Healthcare team again confirmed as national leader
Sintons has been named as a key advisor nationally for its work both in healthcare and medical partnerships, and is acknowledged as a “specialist healthcare firm…they give extremely good advice to healthcare professionals”.
The firm has a longstanding reputation as a leading name in healthcare on a national stage, and Chambers again highlights its “deep understanding of the intricacies of the NHS and secondary care market”.
It is praised for its presence in transactional matters including M&A, procurement and real estate development work, and for its strong client base of NHS Trusts, GPs, dental practices, pharmacies and social care providers.
Chambers also notes its experience in a broad range of medical partnership matters, from LLP conversions to practice mergers and takeovers, as well as property-related issues. It has “further expertise” in negotiations and disputes related to partner departures and retirements.
Amanda Maskery, head of NHS Healthcare at Sintons, is again named as a leading name in the healthcare advisory sector. She is hailed as being “very helpful and knowledgeable…a pleasure to deal with”.
The findings of Chambers 2020 come only shortly after the publication of the Legal 500 2019 rankings, which similarly hailed Sintons’ strong national presence in healthcare alongside its quality of client service. It also named Amanda Maskery as one of the leading lawyers in the North of England.
Mark Quigley, managing partner of Sintons, said: “We have a growing presence on a national stage for our healthcare work, with instructions coming from NHS Trusts and healthcare organisations and professionals throughout the UK. We are very pleased this has again been recognised with a national ranking for both our healthcare and medical partnerships work. Our knowledge and understanding of this highly specialist area is unrivalled and that is at the root of why we are the trusted advisor to increasing numbers of clients in this sector nationally.
These rankings from Chambers 2020, which concur with those of Legal 500, give further independent endorsement of our position at the very forefront of the healthcare sector, and as an ambitious law firm, this is something we are keen to grow and develop even further.”
