The Law Society Personal Injury Panel
The Law Society is the professional association that represents and governs solicitors in the UK. It provides services and support to practising and training solicitors and aims to promote the highest professional standards.
To help achieve this aim, the Law Society runs a number of accreditation schemes to identify solicitors who are specialists in their field.
The Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme covers all work undertaken by solicitors and fellows of the Institute of Legal Executives on behalf of victims and their dependents, as well as those lawyers who act for the insurers or other parties who may be required to pay compensation as a result of a personal injury claim.
In order to obtain membership of the personal injury panel, the Law Society must be satisfied that a lawyer not only has a detailed knowledge of the law applicable to personal injury compensation claims, but that in addition they are able to pursue such claims in an appropriate manner and in the best interests of their clients. Only lawyers with a proven track record in successfully managing complex personal injury claims are able to obtain accreditation.
At Sintons a number of our senior solicitors are accredited members of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel and are also recognised as Senior Litigators by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
All personal injury claims are pursued on a No Win No Fee basis so you can rest assured that there is no financial risk.
