Our construction & engineering team understands that avoiding disputes is often more important for your business than resolving disputes.

If approached in the correct way many potential disputes, including time and money claims, can be resolved without recourse to formal proceedings.

Our aim is to assist you in getting the best commercial result from the project in the most efficient manner. We recognise that this is not always achieved by entering into a dispute – particularly where long term ongoing commercial relationships need to be considered. Our specialists are experienced in working with clients through the project lifecycle in order to provide troubleshooting advice and ensure that positive results can be achieved while the project is still on site.

This advice may include assisting with strategy, risk minimisation and contractual claims and notices. We are also able to advise employers and certifiers in effectively managing the contract and assessing site level claims. Some types of claims upon which we have provided advice are:
