Why Sintons?

At Sintons we regard our trainees as the future of the firm and an integral part of the team. A number of our partners trained with the firm. As Investors in People we are committed to continually seeking to develop staff, granting opportunities, recognising achievements and valuing everyone’s contribution.

One of the main advantages of Sintons is our size. We are small enough for you to obtain real hands on experience, from a very early stage, but large enough for you to identify and develop your own strengths and interests, and draw upon a wealth of technical and commercial knowledge and expertise.

If you would like to be part of a dynamic, forward thinking, proactive firm with an excellent reputation for client care and a caring and supportive culture, then please read on…

What can you expect from a training contract with Sintons?

In recent years we have experienced impressive organic growth in all areas of the practice and as a trainee with Sintons you can expect to receive:
  • A broad spectrum of high quality experience in a number of legal disciplines;
  • Early responsibility and client contact;
  • Technical and administrative training and support; and
  • An open and friendly environment in which to work.
During your two-year contract you will spend not less than 6 months in each of our three main departments with the opportunity to spend your final 6 months in the area of our business where you demonstrate your greatest strengths.

What we expect from our trainees
  • Commitment and enthusiasm;
  • A willingness to learn;
  • The ability to work as part of a team;
  • A proven academic record;
  • A pragmatic and commercial approach to problem solving; and
  • Good communication skills.
